Party Menu

Serve Heart-Shaped Sandwiches. Use your birthday child’s favorite fillings and cut sandwiches into heart shapes.

Serve Pink Macaroni & Cheese. Use macaroni, white cheese and red food coloring. Combine to make pink.

Serve Pink Fruit Skewers. Use raspberries, strawberries, and watermelon to make a fresh fruit surprise. Serve with strawberry yogurt.

Serve carrot and celery sticks with ranch dressing.

Serve Pink Popcorn. You will need: 2 cups sugar, 1 cup light corn syrup, 2/3 cup margarine, 2 packs flavored powder drink mix (pink or red), and 1 teaspoon soda. Boil sugar, corn syrup, and margarine together for 3 minutes. Stir in soda and powder drink mix. Pour over 6 quarts of popcorn. Bake at 225°F for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and break up immediately.

Make Pink Lemonade. Serve pink lemonade in pretty punch glasses. Place a cherry or strawberry on the rim of each glass.

For extra fun: Fill an ice cube tray with water, and let sit for 20 minutes (this allows air bubbles to settle, and will result in clearer ice cubes so the berries can be seen). Place a small cherry or strawberry into each cube, and then freeze.

Serve a Pink Barbie Smoothie. Use vanilla ice cream, an apple, orange, and cherries. Blend and top with whipped cream and cherries.

Make Star Cookies. Prepare the birthday child’s favorite cookies and cut into star shapes before baking. Decorate with pink sprinkles/jimmies.

Make Barbie Parfaits. Layer yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit. Repeat layers once or twice in each cup and top with whipped cream. Serve with long spoon.

Make a Barbie™ Cake. Ice two to three round cakes. Place the cakes on top of one another. Slide a Barbie doll through the center of the cake. To make sure the cakes do not split, use a knife to hollow out a small circular area before sliding the Barbie doll into the center.
