Introduction and Party Invitations

Lollipop, Lollipop, Oh, Lolly, Lolly, Lolly…

So the famous old song goes. Lollipops are bright, fanciful, and fun, especially for little girls. Not only is it often a favorite candy, but also would make for a party theme full of everything sweet and colorful. Create your own lollipop sensation with these ideas that are sure to please your special birthday child and her or her guests.

The perfect invitation for this theme is to send a lollipop – either an oversized large lollipop that the party guests may enjoy before your party or an oversized paper lollipop.

If you choose to send large real lollipops to your guests, attach the party details to the lollipop in one of two ways:

  1. Cut out circles to match the size of your lollipop, write your party details on the circles, and attach to the front side of your lollipop with tape.
  2. Cut out small circle cards, write the details, and hole-punch your cards. Using bright colorful yarn, attach the circle card to the lollipop stick stringing the yarn through the hole punch and around the stick.

Mail either one using large envelopes or hand-deliver.

If you do not wish to send actual lollipops through the mail, send a paper lollipop instead. Cut out large circles and have your birthday child color them in her favorite lollipop colors. Using colorful felt pipe cleaners, match the circles to the pipe cleaners and attach using a glue gun. Send in the mail using envelopes that fit your lollipop’s size.

Note: Use festive lollipop language on your party invitations, like Lollipop, Lollipop, Oh Lolli Lollipop! Lollipop!
