Introduction and Party Invitations

Aloha! A tropical luau is a wonderful party to plan for children and adults alike. It takes the whole family to carefree summer days with warm breezes, delicious foods, and sweet sounds as you pass the party time with your friends.

This is an especially fun theme during the warm summer months, but can also call to mind those days in the middle of winter too.

For your party invitation, have your birthday child make Hawaiian postcards with a seascape scene on the front, and on the reverse side provide the tropical luau details, and send with a postcard stamp.

Alternatively, flip-flop invitations would add thematic fun for your guests. Purchase inexpensive flip-flops in a variety of colors at the local discount store and split the pairs up. On the bottom side of the flip-flop, write your tropical luau details. Request that the guests bring their flip-flop with them to the party. Upon their arrival, provide them with the other flip-flop to wear during the luau.
