Decide your party colors based on your child’s favorite rock star. This is a great party for flashy, bright colors to bring the theme alive. Once you have chosen your color scheme, use streamers, balloons, and tableware to decorate.

Roll out a red carpet (red wrapping paper) for your guests to arrive on at the party. Gold, silver, and black balloons lining the red carpet would be a sparkly addition to the party entrance.

Hang a sign on your front door that says Rock Concert Tonight!

Hang rock star posters around the party room.

Hang old CDs from the ceiling of your party room using fishing wire.

Create a rock star atmosphere for your party by creating a mock stage area where the kids can go once they walk over the red carpet. Hang a large sheet or piece of fabric on the wall and run twinkle lights around it to make it sparkle. Gold and silver stars hanging from the ceiling would also add sparkle.

A karaoke machine, microphone, and array of CDs would be a great way to set the stage for your rock stars to perform.

Hand out glow sticks to your guests for a special concert atmosphere, too.

Place disposable cameras around the party room so your guests can take pictures of each other during the party.
