Introduction and Party Invitations

Sock Monkey is a classic character that children love. Who doesn’t love soft socks turned into a loveable character that is so cute. If your birthday child adores sock monkey (and maybe you do too!) this is a perfect party theme for young children and works well for both boys and girls. Keep these ideas in mind to inspire a special sock monkey party.

Depending on how much time you have available you could either create your own mini sock monkey invitation or send a paper invitation using clip art and/or a sock monkey stencil.

If you choose to make a mini sock monkey, purchase small brown socks for children, stuff them with cotton, and tie off the end with brown ribbon. Decorate the face with craft items such as yarn and googly eyes. Attach a medium-sized card with your party details written on them to your sock monkey’s neck with aqua blue yarn.

Alternatively, using brown card stock, decorate the front of the invitation card with a sock monkey stencil and/or sock monkey stickers and write your party details on the inside of the card. These can easily be mailed to your guests.
