Introduction and Party Invitations

Monkeys will swing, zebras will kick up their heels, and elephants will stampede to your home for a fabulous zoo animal party. If your birthday child loves trips to the zoo and reading about the animals that live there, this is the perfect theme for a fabulous party.

This is an especially fun theme for small children under the age of 5. Even if you are not taking an actual trip to the zoo, you can definitely bring the zoo alive in your own home.

Gather pictures of your birthday child. Purchase brightly colored construction paper and fold it in half. On the front half, cut out rectangular shapes so that it looks like a cage and place pictures of zoo animals inside the rectangle cage. Place the picture of the birthday child outside of the zoo cage on the invitation. On the front, write Welcome to Birthday Child’s Name Zoo! Inside the invitation, provide the party details.
