Introduction and Party Invitations

If your child is celebrating a birthday during winter when it is cold and snowy outside, a perfect theme for your party is a fabulous Winter Wonderland! If it is December, January, or February and you are sure to be throwing an indoor party, take inspiration from snow, snowmen, snowflakes, and all things icy and cold!

Cut out an array of mittens, snowballs, scarves, and snowflakes in your party colors and place all of the pertinent information on the cutouts. Use cookie cutters as guides; they can play double duty later for craft projects or treats.

A second invitation idea is to paint styrofoam balls with your party colors for snowballs and attach a mitten tag with the party details. These invitations will need to be hand-delivered.

Use wintry language: It may not snow, not even a flake, but one thing's for sure, we'll all eat cake.
